Extensions are undoubtedly the cornerstone of the construction side of Rymore’s business. Not only are they usually the best way to add space, but a sympathetic extension will also often increase the value of a property by more than the building cost. As well as being a sound investment an extension is cheaper and less stressful than moving house. Carefully designed, an extension creates space to suit your lifestyle and integrates seamlessly with your existing property. Adding that missing ingredient could introduce that ‘wow’ factor to your home.

In kitchen and dining areas for example, new large folding sliding doors can make outdoor space more far more accessible for all members of the family, making summer entertainment and safe children’s play far more practical.

Vaulted ceilings are extremely attractive and when combined with the right rooflights, create a light and airy space. Some bedroom extensions lend themselves to this type of ceiling, and can look spectacular.

‘Wow’ factor doesn’t need to cost the earth. In many cases it simply requires careful thought at the design stage. For this reason, we prefer to be involved at the early stages of design, so that we can offer practical advice on configuration and budgets with our own architect and engineer team. Of course, some of our clients already have drawings of their proposals, in which case we will happily provide an estimate for the work to their plan.
