This property was built in the 1970’s, and although it had already been updated cosmetically, it was otherwise unaltered. The potential for a front extension was clear to see, and proved to be the perfect answer for a growing family.
Our work consisted of the complete removal of the dated front elevation, and the addition of a new two story extension. This transformed a small box room over the garage in to a master bedroom with ensuite, and created a small family room at ground floor level with an additional WC.
We designed the bedroom with a vaulted ceiling for added wow factor and installed piped underfloor heating for improved comfort. Our biggest challenge was the 2.5m deep foundations and the occupancy of the property while the work was in progress.
