⬅️ Case Studies

This project required the removal of a poorly built lean-to extension, and replacement with a significantly bigger and better modern extension in its place. Parts of the suspended timber floor within the existing ground floor areas were also removed. These were  replaced with concrete floor beams for continuity with the new extension. This allowed improved levels of insulation to be installed, and facilitated underfloor heating, which was added to the whole area.

We undertook the entire project, including the GRP roof covering, and a 50m2 patio with sand-stone paving. The biggest challenge during construction was access to the rear of the property. We overcome this by completely removing the back of the existing garage, allowing us to lift and move the heavy floor beams with an excavator to the back of the house.
