This Southborough property had the potential to offer fantastic views over Tonbridge and the surrounding areas, but needed significant alteration and refurbishment work to take full advantage of its hill side location.
Rymore was asked to undertake all the work, which also included a huge loft conversion, requiring most of the roof to be removed. A side extension added much needed bedroom space, a utility room, and ensuite WC. A rear extension also greatly increased the size of the kitchen, where enormous windows took full advantage of the views.
The entire house was re-wired, re-plumbed and re-plastered. We also installed three bathrooms, a utility room and kitchen with real wow-factor.
The biggest challenge was the steep slope to the back garden. This had to be excavated for a huge patio and retaining wall, whilst maintaining access for plant and machinery. As the pictures show, the project was completed successfully, and the clients were very happy with the work.
